-
a best practice assessment engine with 1 279 Assessment Criteria (ACs)
-
334 Implementation Actions (IAs)
-
111 Stop ’n Thinks (S’nTs)
-
42 competency development workshops
Implementation Actions (IAs)
An Implementation Action (IA) is an action that needs to be completed so that an organisation can reach the next stage of maturity in a particular best practice.
Stop 'n Thinks (S’nTs)
A Stop ’n Think (S’nT) is an aspect, such as a policy, procedure or strategic decision, that needs to be reviewed, considered or made before an IA is undertaken.
The TRACC system is supplied via digiTRACC, a secure online service. The assessment engine, ‘know-how’ in the form of IAs and S’nTs and the training workshop materials are supplied in digiTRACC. The ‘know-how’ can also be supplied in printed Maps and Manuals.
Operations TRACC Suite
The Operations TRACC suite consists of seven Foundation TRACCs and six Pillar TRACCs. TRACC’s implementation methodology ensures that all the building blocks are in place.
Foundation TRACCs:
- Leading and Managing Change
- Human Capital
- Teamwork
- 5S
- Visual Management
- Focused Improvement
- Health and Safety
Pillar TRACCs:
- Autonomous Maintenance
- Asset Care
- Set-up Time Reduction
- Quality
- Environmental Sustainability
- Administrative Excellence
Our methodology ensures that strong foundations are laid first, starting with Leading and Managing Change. After shared understanding has been reached, as well as agreement on the way forward, and implementation structures have been put in place, the organisation can then implement the next Foundation TRACCs: Health and Safety, Teamwork, 5S, Visual Management, Focused Improvement and Human Capital.

Only once an organisation has made adequate progress on their world class performance status in the Foundation TRACCs, will they move to the Pillar TRACCs.
All these TRACCs are readily available in Version 5.
The remaining TRACCs form part of the new Version 5.1 TRACCs — Human Capital, Environmental Sustainability and Administrative Excellence. These Operations TRACC product extensions are available in BETA.
NOTE: The V5 Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) TRACC is still current and available in the place of the V5.1 Health and Safety (HS) TRACC.

Enabling TRACCs Support both TRACC Suites
Specific enabling practices to support the TRACC implementation are:
Human Capital: This practice ensures effective management and development of human resources. For the various stages of development, it addresses the activities and services which an HR department needs to provide to its internal customers as well as the roles and responsibilities of line managers in relation to people development.
Leading and Managing Change: This is the practice through which senior management guide, implement and control the TRACC integrative improvement effort. It ensures that change is effectively implemented and managed.
