If managers don't consider manufacturing a source of competitive advantage, they're likely to establish foreign factories with limited resources and a narrow strategic scope.

TRACC Products Overview

TRACC is a Continuous Improvement Management System that rapidly delivers operational improvement and builds internal capability to enable full payback in year one, 400% ROI in year two and sustainable, exponential returns thereafter.

TRACC enables manufacturing organisations to rapidly implement and sustain best practices with substantial financial savings and performance improvements as a result. It enables Executive and Operational Management to:

  • Assess their operations’ current best practice maturity
  • Create a clear, coordinated, and logically-sequenced best practice implementation road map
  • Measure their progress against that road map
  • Guide their implementation teams on what good practice looks like and provide consistent ‘WHATs’ and ‘HOWs’
  • Build competency and engage people at all levels of the organisation in various locations simultaneously
  • Share best practice knowledge across the organisation and multiple sites

TRACC best practices have been divided into five stages of maturity. This enables an organisation to pursue the road to excellence in manageable stages, rather than be overwhelmed by the enormity of the task. The matrix below lists all the best practice TRACCs. If you click on the TRACC and stage you are interested in, it will provide you with an overview of that particular TRACC (example Teamwork Stage 4 Refinement & Technology).

TRACC is available in 15 languages, making it the ideal solution for multi-site implementations.

TRACC’s methodology incorporates WCM, TPM, TQM, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, which provide clients with a totally integrated and codified solution.

TRACC’s implementation methodology ensures that all the building blocks are in place. Just like building a house, our methodology ensures that the foundations are built first, starting with the Leading and Managing Change TRACC. After shared understanding has been reached, as well as agreement on the way forward, and implementation structures are in place, organisations embark on implementing the foundation TRACCs: Teamwork, 5S, Visual Performance Measurement and Focused Improvement.

Only once clients have made adequate progress on their World Class performance status in these foundation TRACCs will they move to:
Autonomous Maintenance, Business Centered Maintenance, Set-up Time Reduction, Quality, Process Flow, Supply Chain and Administrative Excellence.
